The deadline for submitting Short-Term Stay Declarations covering guest departures or short-term rental cancellations between 1 and 30 September 2026 has been extended to 13 November 2026.
Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) confirmed the extension through Decision A.1227/26-10-2026, published in Government Gazette B΄6467/26.10.2026.
The original deadline was 20 October. AADE granted the extension after taxpayers experienced problems submitting their declarations electronically that day.
Which Short-Term Stay Declarations are covered?
Eligibility for the extension depends on the departure or cancellation date, which must fall within September 2026.
For example, a booking made in August with a guest departure in September falls within the extension. A booking made in September with departure in October does not fall within this particular decision.
The extension applies to individuals, companies and other legal entities required to submit the relevant declarations in Greece.
