AirDNA has analysed the short-term rental market landscape in Europe, and Greece appears in the Top 5 most expensive countries to visit this summer.
The analyses is based on price per night for the months of June to August 2024.

Greece is in the top 5 most expensive countries along with Iceland, Monaco, the UK and Spain. Conversely, the cheapest countries to visit in Europe are Eastern European destinations. The top 5 cheapest countries are Kosovo, Belarus, Moldova, North Macedonia and Serbia. The average daily rates of short term rental (ADR) accommodation in the most expensive countries are: Iceland €264, Monaco, €261, United Kingdom €260, Greece €253 , Spain €236.
In the 5 cheapest countries, the average daily rates range from just €50 to €73.

Areas like Stavroupoli, Polihni, Evkaria are hidden gems, which AirDNA stresses, provide the traveler with the opportunity to experience the charm and hospitality of Greece without the high cost of popular destinations.
Of the 277 short-term rental locations in Greece, 119 have an average ADR of €100 or less.
This means travelers have plenty of affordable options for exploring this beautiful country.
Luxurious Greece
However, at the other end of the spectrum, 16 locations in Greece have an average ADR of €250 or higher, appealing to luxury travelers seeking high-end experiences.
Mykonos, in particular, stands out with a staggering average ADR of €754.39, cementing its reputation as a premium destination.
