AADE, Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue, has extended the deadline for reviewing and updating the new 2025 Business Activity Codes (KAD) to December 31, 2026. The codes were assigned automatically under the new European framework.
The extension concerns businesses that need to check how their activities have been mapped to the new codes. These may include property management companies, short-term rental businesses and hospitality professionals, provided they have relevant business activity codes.
The deadline and the myAADE process
Business activity codes can be reviewed and, where necessary, updated through the myAADE digital portal, using the services for changing business and establishment details.
The relevant declarations can be submitted without a penalty until December 31, 2026, provided that no previous change to the business activity codes for the head office or a branch has been made after March 1, 2026.
What businesses should check
Businesses concerned can review the new codes assigned automatically and update them where necessary. The extension provides additional time to check business activity details through AADE’s platform.
