The global serviced apartments industry is entering a phase of strong growth, with its value expected to reach \u00a3183.6 billion by 2030<\/strong>, according to the Global Serviced Apartment Industry Report 2025 (GSAIR)<\/strong>, published by consultancy firm Ariosi<\/strong> via the Travel Intelligence Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The report highlights that rising corporate relocation, technological progress, new investments, and shifting traveller expectations are reshaping the global hospitality landscape.<\/p>\n

Corporate relocation drives demand<\/h3>\n

Demand for serviced apartments is being fuelled primarily by corporate mobility.
Applications for employee relocation in the United Kingdom rose 8% year-on-year in April 2025<\/strong>, reflecting the expansion of international business activity.<\/p>\n

According to the report:<\/p>\n

    30% of new branded serviced apartment units across Europe<\/strong> will be developed in the UK by 2030,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    while 15% of total supply<\/strong> will be located in London.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The market is expected to double in value by 2033<\/strong>, reaching \u00a36.52 billion<\/strong>, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.8%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    At the same time, the blended travel<\/strong> market\u2014combining business and leisure travel\u2014is forecast to be worth \u00a3636.47 billion by 2026<\/strong>, posting a CAGR of 12.27%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Investor interest in the sector continues to rise: the share of investors targeting serviced apartments increased from 24% in 2024 to 27% in 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The convergence of hospitality models\u2014such as serviced apartments, co-living and long-stay accommodation\u2014is shaping a new, flexible residential market.<\/p>\n

    AI, Gen Z and the digital experience revolution<\/h3>\n

    The report underlines the rapidly growing influence of Generation Z<\/strong>, which demands digital convenience, mobile-first experiences and smart in-room technology.<\/p>\n

    Operators are investing in app-controlled lighting and heating systems<\/strong>, contactless check-ins<\/strong>, and real-time guest communication tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
