Skopelos is Solmar Villas‘ new Greek destination for 2025.
The company operates in the UK market, offering luxury villa holidays in coastal destinations in Southern Europe. It says it is expanding its portfolio by 20% this year with more than 500 new properties, bringing the total to 2,500 villas.
Solmar Villas has a strong presence in Greece, adding new properties in Kefalonia, Lefkada and Zakynthos this year. Skopelos will open for the season in May. The company also offers villas in Greece on the islands of Corfu, Crete, Kos, Lefkada and Rhodes and, since last year, in Halkidiki and the Olympic Riviera in Pieria. The company offers holidays in our country in about 600 villas.
New villas have been added this year in Gozo, Mallorca, the Amalfi Coast, Lanzarote, Croatia, Cyprus, the Costa Blanca, the Algarve and Dalaman.
Prices for seven nights in one of their two-bedroom villas in Crete start from £536 in April.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our collection so significantly for 2025, offering the biggest ever choice of self-catering holidays in the Mediterranean and beyond,” said managing director Julie Blake.
“Greece and the Greek islands continue to be a firm favourite with our guests, so it’s exciting to be growing our range there and expanding to new islands such as Skopelos,” she added.
According to her, sales to date are up 35% on this time last year. The company is developing a TV campaign in January to promote sales, so she expects that month to be very strong.
